Workout Wednesday: Drink More Water
Though drinking water is not technically working out, it can most definitely help you lose weight in a healthy way. Each person's body is different, that is what makes us all unique. The one thing that we all have in common is that our bodies need to be hydrated.
Drinking water is an easy way to cut out extra sugars, fats, and grains that your body does not need. Though alcohol, soda, and coffee with cream are very tasty, your body doesn't need them to function properly.
Since each person is different, we all need different amounts of water to remain hydrated. The easiest way to find out how much water you should drink each day is to cut your weight in half. That number is how many ounces of water you should drink each day. For example, someone who weighs 150 pounds should drink 75 ounces of water a day.
Drinking more water each day can have many benefits including losing a few pounds, having more energy throughout the day, and can also help with clear and more refreshed looking skin. Drinking water can also help in regulating blood pressure and body temperature.
A great way to make sure you are drinking enough water is to get a water bottle that shows the ounces on the outside. Getting a reusable water bottle can also help the environment. You can also keep track of how much water you drink through many different apps as well.
